Yes, you can use our bottle pickup service even if you don’t want the refund. The refund generated from your bottle recycling will be donated to charity.
While it’s not required, washing your bottles and containers removes residues and eliminates odors which helps maintain hygiene till the time a driver picks it up. Rinsing your bottles and containers makes your order processing much more pleasant.
Yes, you have to create an online account on the Reclam app with all the details required. This helps ensure efficient management of your bottle pickups and refund payments.
You can avail of a bottle pickup service simply by creating an account on the Reclam iOS or Android apps. You can select a location and schedule a bottle pickup as per your convenience. On your scheduled pickup date, place your bags filled with empty bottles and containers outside for pickup. Once your empties are counted, we will credit your account with your refund within 24 to 48 hours.
Yes, we are able to pick up from apartments and condos. You need to schedule a pickup for a day when you will be available.
Processing and payment of bottle refunds typically take 24 to 48 hours after pickup (excluding Sundays and Statutory Holidays). However, we request clients to allow up to 7 days to receive refunds, as we sometimes experience a surge in demand causing delays. Contact us if you do not receive your refunds after 7 days. Please note that the Cheque refund process takes longer than the e-transfer refund process.
There are no charges applicable for the pickup. To cover our operational costs and make a meaningful charitable impact in our community, we pay you a slightly less refund amount for each bottle.
Our drivers sort your bags of bottles and label them with your unique IDs to separate them from other pickups. The bottles are counted and processed separately at the bottle recycling depot based on these IDs.

No, only empty beverage containers are eligible for the bottle pickup service and refund.
Hint: If you cannot drink the content in the container, it likely does not have a refund value on it.
